The Fort Frances Lakers will host the Thunder Bay North Stars in SIJHL action on Friday, Oct. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena. Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for students, $5 for those 12 and under, and free for those under five.

Our Lady of Lourdes C.W.L. will hold its fall tea and bake sale on Sunday, Oct. 20 from 2-4 p.m. at Deacon Elmer Mainville Hall at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Admission $4 for adults; $2 for children 12 and under.

“Trunk or Treat 2019” will take place on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m. at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre parking lot. The 908 Rainy Lake Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron is looking for new members. They meet Monday nights now through June 11, 2020 in the arena auditorium. Ages 12-18 welcome.
