A community tree care workshop, presented by the Fort Frances Museum and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, will be held on Saturday, April 13 at the museum (259 Scott St.). The third-annual spaghetti supper fundraiser for the La Vallee Fire & Emergency Service will be held on Saturday, April 13 from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Devlin Community Hall. Tickets cost $10. Tickets available from any La Vallee firefighter or at the door (if there’s any left).

“Rock’n For A Reason,” presented by La Verendrye General Hospital Auxiliary, will be held on Friday, May 24 from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday, May 25 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. during the Spring Market at the Fort Frances Curling Club. Donations can be made at their booth. All proceeds go to local health care.
The Lions Legacy Golf Tournament, presented by the Fort Frances Lions Club and the Fort Frances Voyageurs Lions Club, will be held on Saturday, June 22 starting at 10 a.m. at the Heron Landing (Couchiching). The cost is $100 each or $400/team, which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, and supper. Entries limited to the first 36 paid teams, with the registration deadline being June 6.
