Name woes

Dear editor:
In the courthouse news in last week’s edition of the Times, I read with some disdain that a person with the same name as me had been charged with a criminal offence.
This seemed to result in some confusion, as the offender’s birthdate and mine are within two years from each other. This has caused some chagrin for me, and could prove embarrassing to my family.
I realize that it is lawfully public knowledge, and the Times has every right to print the names of the offenders, but wouldn’t it be better to print more information like the address of the person, or even their middle name as well, to avoid confusion?
I know I sure would have appreciated it.
Sincerely,
Bill Morrison Jr.
