Then St. Patrick’s Church in Emo will host a roast beef supper on Tuesday, March 17.

Admission is by advance tickets only, which cost $15 for adults and $5 for kids aged six-12 (those five and under are free).

Sympathy to the family and friends of Oda Cain, who was a longtime resident of Devlin.

She was a wonderful, quiet-natured lady and I still remember her wonderful oatmeal cookies (I have the recipe tucked away).

Sympathy, as well, to the Danku and Booth families on the passing of Joe Danku.

Many men will remember the haircuts from him.

Our community is thinking of all the people grieving today.

A men’s hockey tournament will take place this Friday and Saturday (March 13-14) at the Emo Arena.

The Emo Legion will host the beer gardens upstairs during the tournament.

Robin’s 2¢:

Twenty years ago, we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, and Steven Jobs.

Now we have No Cash, No Hope, and No Jobs.

Please don’t let Kevin BACON die!
