Local resident Jackie Badiuk recently returned from her two-week holiday in Ireland.

She was lucky enough to have visited a great majority of the island, starting in Dublin and also doing a loop through Northern Ireland.

“It was an amazing trip!” Badiuk enthused. “Beautiful scenery everywhere. And with it being such a small island, it was easy to jump in the car and drive to the next destination within a couple of hours.”

The entire northern Causeway Coast was incredible, with Slieve Leage, the Cliffs of Moher, as well as inland stops such as Blarney Castle topping the list of favourites for the travellers

Robin’s 2¢:

Two old ladies have played Bridge together for many years, and naturally they have gotten to know each other pretty well.

One day, during a game of cards, one lady suddenly looks up at the other and says, “I realize we’ve known each other for many years, but for the life of me I just can’t bring it to mind . . . would you please tell me your name again, dear?”

After dead silence for a couple of minutes, the other lady replied, “How soon do you need to know?”
