Emo Fair a success for locals

The Rainy River Valley Agricultural Society’s 2012 fall fair in Emo was fun for all this year, however locals proved to be winners in several areas.

Kelvin Caul captured the “Champion Logger” title, Orville Smith took home the logger safety award, and Brent Keller earned the rookie logger award.

As well, Jamie Davis took the checkered flag both Friday and Saturday nights.

Sympathy to the family and friends of Reta Topham, who passed away Aug. 15.

She was a very stylish and dignified lady who leaves behind many cherished memories. She will be missed by many.

Sympathy also is extended to the family and friends of Marion Greener, who worked hard beside her husband, Bob.

She loved garage sales and auction.

Finally, sympathy to Dale and Sheri Stamarski and family on the passing of his dad, Stan Samarski.

When a women says “what,” it’s not because she didn’t hear you.

She’s giving you a chance to change what you said.
