District auxiliary tea slated

The Emo and District Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual fall tea and bazaar next Friday (Oct. 17) from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Emo Legion.

Admission is $2, and there also will be baking for sale and lots of draws to add to the fun (donations of baking would be appreciated).

This event is always popular, with many folks socializing while enjoying tasty food with their tea/coffee. Most importantly, it helps to support the Emo Health Centre.

For mor info or to offer donations, call Heather at 487-2253.

The Guthrie United Church “harvest supper” on Sunday attracted close to 300 people. As always, the food was delicious.

Hats off to the many folks who work long and hard to make such a popular annual event.
