Mining Advisor
The Mining Advisor will be employed for the remainder of the Contract
Starting Mid-September, 2015 to March 31st, 2016 at the AKRC Inc.
Main Office located south of Sioux Narrows, ON on the Territory of
Northwest Angle #37 First Nation, adjacent to Hwy. 71.
The person shall respond to the job ad by providing a written resume
highlighting work experience and success in securing agreements
with mining companies negotiating for and on behalf of former
employers.
The Mining Advisor shall work towards the objectives of the AKRC Inc.
group as a whole, and shall provide mining advisory services for the
use and benefit of member First Nations, including, but not limited
to services in training, job creation, mining services procurement,
economic development and employment.
Qualifications:
1. Post-secondary degree or diploma from an accredited university or
college.
2. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
3. Five years’ experience working with mining companies and the
mining Industry and/or working in an Aboriginal Organization and/
or a First Nation.
