We have an opportunity in the
west end of the district.

The Fort Frances Times has an immediate opening for a

WRITER/PHOTOGRAPHER

We’re looking for someone who is curious about the
people and events around the district. Someone who is
an idea person and works very well independently. Most
importantly, someone who can deliver to our readership
meaningful and thought-provoking pieces that are balanced
and well-researched. Eye-catching photos provided each
week will be very important, too.
Your stories and photos would appear in the Times, the
Daily Bulletin, and on our website. Working in conjunction
with our editorial department, your schedule would be
flexible and reflect both your personal situation and our
projects and deadlines.
Before you say...”Sounds great but I’m not sure I can do
that.” Think again.
Passion may be more important than pedigree, and
enthusiasm can be more critical than experience. You may
not have an English degree (if you do that’s a bonus!), nor
be a published author, but if you’d like to write, grab hold of
this opportunity and turn it into a rewarding career!
Email your resume to publisher Jim Cumming at:
jcumming@fortfrances.com

Deadline for submission is
Friday, Oct. 7, 2016.
