Naicatchewenin Development Corporation is seeking an individual

with a professional work ethic and who has strong business and project

management skills, for the Business Development Offi cer position.

Reporting to the Board of Directors of Naicatchewenin Development

Corporation, the Business Development Offi cer will carry out guidance

and oversight in First Nation Economic Development areas; such as

managing contractual obligations for agreements/contracts requested,

maintaining strict confi dentiality in regards to business partners and

fi les, oversee day to day business operations from development to

delivery and ensuring milestones are properly defi ned and achieved.

Other duties include but are not limited to, formulate an eff ective

strategic plan by analyzing the industries and gaining stakeholder

consensus on the Organizations’ future strategic plans in order to

maximize the Corporations success.

Qualifi cations and Requirements for this position are as follows:

1. Business Graduate degree or other technical advanced degree or

equivalent

2. Minimum fi ve (5) years offi ce work experience in Business

Development or related industry.

3. Must have high profi ciency with all relevant computer soft ware

programs: Microsoft Offi ce, Word, Excel, Project, Power Point

4. Good understanding of the local industries, market drivers and

business practices.

5. Understanding of First Nations’ management, culture and

lifestyles; and

6. Must be able to submit a satisfactory criminal reference check.
