The United Native Friendship Centre is seeking a highly motivated,
community minded individual for the position of

COMBINED (Youth & Family) COURT WORKER
Full Time Position – 35 hours/week
Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Social Services/Law Advocacy
  • Minimum two years-experience in the justice field
  • Past experience in statistical, quarterly and annual reports
  • Past experience working with Indigenous youth and families
  • Excellent communication and public relations skills
  • Knowledge of community agencies and referral sources
  • Group facilitation skills
  • Ability to work as a team member and also with minimal

supervision

  • Knowledge of computer programs
  • Must provide a vulnerable sector criminal reference check
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
