The All Nation Nurses Entry Program (ANNEP) is a nine-month access
program designed to equip students with the necessary skills required
for entry into Lakehead University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
degree program.
DUTIES:

  • Deliver College courses reflecting Aboriginal and regional knowledge;
  • Manage and Supervise students;
  • Evaluate and report student progress.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • University Degree in related field, preferred;
  • Membership in a professional affiliation, if applicable, preferred;
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) as well as strong

interpersonal, organizational and computer skills;

  • Previous experience in related field, preferred;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Crucial to this position is a demonstrated ability to understand cultural

influences and issues specific to adult learners in northern communities;

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Aboriginal culture, preferred;
  • The ability to speak an Aboriginal language, preferred;
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with colleagues and students;
  • Teaching experience, preferred.

LOCATION: Fort Frances, Ontario
REMUNERATION: Set Instructional Rates
