The Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and
management of the program(s). This includes managing personnel
matters, enrollment, participation, managing program resources and
ensures the program reporting requirements are fulfilled. It is the Project
Manager’s responsibility to ensure the highest standards in programming
are maintained. The Project Manager plays an important role in strategic
planning, program and policy development. It is the Project Manager’s
responsibility to ensure practices and procedures reflect SGEI’s mandate
and goals.

  • Recruitment of participants;
  • Maintaining a full complement of staff and supply instructors/


  • Carrying out annual employee performance evaluations: addressing

performance concerns in a timely manner;

  • Ensure documentation is in place for reposting requirements;
  • Ensuring employees are apprised of program plans and changes in a

timely manner through staff meeting(s) and notices, memos, etc.

  • Project Management five (5) years’ experience, preferred;
  • Managing Education training program(s);
  • Familiarity with Government funding and reporting guidelines;
  • Working with First Nations and Adult Learners;
  • Must be able to interpret basic financial statements;
  • Fluency in Anishinaabe language is considered an asset, preferred.

REMUNERATION: Dependent on qualifications and experience
LOCATION: Fort Frances, Ontario
