INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

Reporting to the Electrical Team Lead, the Industrial Electrician ensures
that work is completed safely. Will perform equipment maintenance
according to standards, procedures and practices set out by industry,
government and Norbord. Will troubleshoot and repair electrical and other
problems as they arise. Will be required to do routes, PM’s, emergency
work orders, corrective work, shift coverage and ongoing training, as well
as be responsible for housekeeping in the shop and work areas. Will also
be required to work inside and outside. The ability to work collaboratively
with others to achieve goals, complemented with a desire to continuously
develop personal knowledge of OSB production systems and processes
is essential. Experience in PLC, Wonder Ware, AC and DC Drives and
Instrumentation is considered to be an asset.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
A Journeyperson Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician- Industrial
or Construction and Maintenance is required and must be attached to the

As a Children’s Mental Health Clinician, you will work as part of a
multidisciplinary team to perform assessments, coordinate client care,
and provide treatment services for children and youth with severe mental
health issues by:
• Conducting psychosocial assessment on children experiencing severe
behavioural, social, emotional disturbances and serious mental health
problems;
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary team and consulting with team
psychologist and psychiatrists/pediatrician to develop, implement,
maintain, and adjust individualized treatment plans;
• Performing behavioural interventions, family sessions, parent groups,
psychoeducation, and individual child counselling according to a variety
of theoretical models.

for continuity of care.
Knowledge & Abilities
• Knowledge of the principles of recovery in mental illness.

• Broad knowledge of mental illness diagnosis and treatment.
• Broad knowledge of psychopharmacology (indications and side-effects).

Director of Family Services provides leadership and day-to-day direction

Worker. The Director of Family Services reports to the Manager of
Administration in all aspects of job functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s Degree in Social Work or other relevant field from an
accredited University is preferred; or,
• Bachelor Degree in Social Work or other relevant field from an
accredited university is necessary; and,
• A combination of 5 years’ progressive Child Welfare experience and
other post-secondary education and training may be considered;
• Thorough knowledge of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act and
regulations, provincial court applications, especially in the application
of the Part IV relating to Customary Care of Rainy River First Nations;
• Five (5) years’ experience and knowledge of the Weechi-it-te-win’s
Service Delivery Model, policy and guidelines;
• Five (5) years’ experience in providing staff supervision and program
management.

(Full Time Permanent Position)
DESCRIPTION
The Intake Worker is a full time, permanent position and will work within
a culturally competent system of care and as such will acknowledge
and incorporate, at all levels, the importance of culture, the expansion
of cultural knowledge, and the overall vision of Weechi-it-te-win Family
Services (WFS).
The Intake Worker will foster cultural awareness through active
participation in an inductive learning process, gaining an understanding
of historical trauma and impacts of oppression and how these relate to
current issues within Indigenous family services.
The Intake Worker will act as a single point of access for inquiries, intake,
coordination and navigation of services for families and children with
intellectual and developmental disabilities within a trauma informed,
culturally safe and rehabilitative framework.
RESPONSIBILITY
The Intake Worker reports to the I & A Manager of Weechi-it-te-win
Family Services.
INTAKE CASE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Receives all intakes & reports from the First Nations Community
Care Programs, Treaty Three Police, OPP, Schools, Hospital/Medical
Personnel, and other agencies.
2. Intake Worker enters referral information into the Penlieu System.
3. Determines if client is currently open for services in
the Penlieu System.
4. Participates in consultation with the I & A Manager, Investigation
Worker, Community Support Technician & Community Supervisor to
determine;
1. Whether police should be contacted.
2. The current referral information has been previously investigated?
3. If yes, what changes in circumstances have there been to prompt a
new investigation.
4. Which I & A worker will be assigned.
5. Print off copy of Penlieu referral and fax to FN CCP and provide copy
to Community Support Technician.
6. Ensure Internal and Fast track is completed on all Referral
information within required time frame.
7. Depending on referral information, flag any children / youth who
may be considered high risk, ie, suicidal, etc.
8. Completes Records Disclosure requests and sends requests to other
Agencies when required.
9. Provides completed Records disclosures when requested
by another Agency.
10. Intake Worker enters Case Closures into the Penlieu System.
11. The Intake worker will also be required to be on the
Weechi-it-te-win Family Services On call team, providing after-hours
services on a rotational basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor of Social Work or Social Work Diploma with 5 years’
experience working with Families and children in a child welfare role.
2. Excellent computer software skills necessary, experience
in Penlieu would be an asset.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Work experience in the area of Child Welfare
5. Ability to speak the Ojibway language is preferred;
6. Must possess a valid Driver’s license; and be able to submit a driver’s
abstract;
7. Must submit a Vulnerable Sector Screening.
