Casino question to be on ballot

The question as to whether Fort Frances should be considered as a possible site for a casino will be included on the ballot in the municipal election this fall.
A public meeting was held during yesterday’s regular council meeting at which time none spoke against the inclusion of the question on the ballot.

OLW student to be in spotlight tonight

A student from Our Lady of the Way School in Stratton will receive the “Recognition of Excellence” from the Northwest Catholic District School Board at its regular meeting tonight.
Principal Brendan Hyatt indicated Haiven Horton has been involved with the school leadership program there for the past two years.
