In addition to the dismantling and relocation of the lookout tower, crews from Tom Jones Construction Inc. also have begun to prepare the future site of the Hallett, which will be refurbished and moved just off shore to the west of the Sorting Gap Marina (as indicated by the area outlined in the water).

John and Betty DeGagné of Fort Frances will be heading to sunny Orlando—a trip valued at $2,200. Next month’s draw is for a trip to Varadero, Cuba ($4,600).

Mark Kowalchuk, chair of the fundraising campaign for the new library, showed Fort Frances RBC branch manager Heather Johnson some of the conceptual drawings for the planned area for teenagers—to be named the “RBC Teen Zone” following a donation of $25,000 to the project by the RBC Foundation.
