    “Jo” (played by Maggie Gauthier) and “Laurie” (Maxwell Williams) performed the song “Five Forever” last Wednesday during opening night of the musical “Little Women” performed by students of Fort Frances High School. The production ran on the Townshend Theatre stage through Saturday.

Then you’ll be happy to know the “Friends of the Library” will hold its annual book sale tomorrow (May 25) from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre.

Emo Walleye Classic hits the river

A total of 38 teams headed in all directions on the Rainy River this morning as the 12th edition of the Emo Walleye Classic got underway at 8 a.m.
“We’ve got some great weather for the start of the tournament and we’re looking forward to it,” Denis Barnard said before he ventured onto the water with teammate Dave Peterson.
