RBC branch manager Heather Johnson was among the RBC staff, along with local Kiwanis Club and Builders Club members, who joined together yesterday evening to clean up the La Verendrye Parkway (Front Street).

Volunteer Cathy Robinson helped organize row upon row of books in preparation for the “Friends of the Library” book sale tomorrow at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre. The sale runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The team of Denis Barnard and Dave Peterson searched for walleye along the shoreline near the boat launch in Fort Frances this morning during the early stages of this year’s Emo Walleye Classic.

“Jo” (played by Maggie Gauthier) and “Laurie” (Maxwell Williams) performed the song “Five Forever” last Wednesday during opening night of the musical “Little Women” performed by students of Fort Frances High School. The production ran on the Townshend Theatre stage through Saturday.

General contractor Tom Jones is continuing work on a single-storey addition on the north side of J.W. Walker School, which will be completed in time for the full-day Early Learning program there this fall. J.W.
