Lakers’ forwards Ty Brueggeman (#8) and Blake Boaz crash the net against Dryden’s Curtis Barker in the team’s preseason opener in Dryden on Wednesday night. The pair were dynamic in the game, as Boaz scored twice, while Brueggeman tickled the twine once in the Lakers’ 6-5 comeback win in overtime. A Public Works crew poured a new sidewalk on the east side of Mowat Avenue on Friday. Earlier in the week, the sidewalk had to be torn up to allow for Link Line to run new natural gas lines underground.
