Bantam boys' provincial playdowns Start: 8:00 am End: 8:00 pm The eight-rink Bantam boys’ provincial playdowns continue at the Fort Frances Curling Club. Draws go tonight at 7 p.m. and on Saturday at 10 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m., with the final round-robin draw set for Sunday at 9 a.m. Tie-breakers, if needed, are scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Spectators welcome. Bantam girls' hockey tournament Start: 8:00 am End: 8:00 pm A Bantam/Midget girls’ hockey tournament runs today through Sunday (Feb. 3-5) at the Memorial Sports Centre. Spectators welcome. Lakers vs Ice Dogs/Flyers Start: 7:30 pm End: 7:30 pm The Fort Frances Lakers will host the Dryden Ice Dogs in SIJHL action today (Feb. 3) and then the Sioux Lookout Flyers on Saturday, Feb. 4. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena, with admission being $10 for adults and $5 for students.
