Fort High student council heads Meghan Metke, right, and Emily Brown offered a heart-felt message during the Remembrance Day assembly there this morning. Students recited poems and sang songs in honour of local veterans. Many of the local elementary schools will be holding Remembrance Day assemblies tomorrow while the community service will take place Sunday (Nov. 11) at 11 a.m. at the cenotaph here.
