25-year employees honoured by board

The most recent meeting of the Rainy River District School Board was held last Tuesday (March 6) at Donald Young School in Emo.
At the meeting, the board recognized three employees for 25 years of service.

The Rainy River District School Board sincerely appreciates all staff members who work on behalf of students, and recognizes the dedication and commitment of its employees who have served the board for 25 years.
Those who received the distinction this year included Terri Yeo (Riverview School secretary) Lucinda Meyers (Riverview School and McCrosson-Tovell School principal) and Ruth Siemens (Donald Young School caretaker).
“For 25 years, you’ve been making a difference in the lives of students,” said Education Director Heather Campbell.
“We appreciate your experience, knowledge, loyalty, and commitment.
“It is with great pleasure that I take this opportunity, on behalf of the board, to recognize and honour our employees for 25 years of service,” she added.
As valued employees who have been making a genuine difference in the lives of students and staff, all honourees received a token of appreciation.
