I sent her office an email requesting information regarding Childrens Aid Society and the Autism waiting list for IBI and got no response. I wanted to know why a 16 year child under the care of CAS in Ontario get perks like leasing a horse for $500.00 a month while my child has to wait on a list for IBI funding. She failed to respond but the Conservatives did. Her failure to respond shows a lack of concern by her and the NDP. Topics during the last provincial election had the NDP demanding action regarding autism funding. Now they don't care to address it. Why, because taking on hot topics during an election buys votes and the NDP will likely continue to ignore issues that affect the citizens of Ontario until the next election. I always voted NDP but no longer will I continue to do so, I will support those that support issues that affect me and my family.
