Legion ladies plan to send care packages to our troops

The Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29 ladies’ auxiliary will be sending Christmas care packages to Canadian troops in Afghanistan—and is inviting everyone to show their support.
They can do so by donating any of the following items:

•wrapped candy;
•non-alcohol wipes;
•lip balm;
•wrapped beef jerky;
•playing cards;
•puzzle books;
•non-breakable Christmas decorations and cards;
•single serving-sized drink crystal packages; and
•Kraft dinner.
Please drop the items off at the Legion no later than Wednesday, Dec. 3.
