It’s the last chance for local residents to hang out with superheroes as the comic book exhibit winds down at the Fort Frances Museum.
The official end date for the exhibit is Nov. 17.

It will be replaced with an exhibit featuring local artist Connie Cuthbertson, which is scheduled to open Nov. 26.
The comic book exhibit is fairly interactive, noted museum assistant Katie Urban, featuring things like large cut-outs of “Batman” and “Captain America” people can take their picture with, “draw your own superhero” stations, and comic books that can be read.
It also features the comic book collection of local resident Barrie Blake, who collected hundreds of comic books throughout the late 1960s and early ’70s.
Not only are there the “usual” superhero comics in the collection, but also monster ones featuring Frankenstein, Dracula, Swamp Thing, and Ghost Rider.
The exhibit also features displays on the origin of comic books, and how comic books are created.
The museum is open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors and children under 12, and a maximum $10 for families.
