If you run your own home-based business, there’s still room for you to sign up for the Home-based Business Expo taking place Friday, Oct. 17 at the Adventure Inn here.
Running from noon-8 p.m., the expo is sort of like a trade show, said Angela Halvorsen, one of the organizing committee members.

As of last week, about two-thirds of spots were still available, she noted.
“A lot of times, there’s a lot of difficulty with marketing a home-based business because of visibility, location, and that sort of thing,” Halvorsen explained.
As such, the expo hopes to help business owners showcase and promote their products and services to the general public.
