Members of the Devlin T.O.P.S. took part in Friday’s “Relay for Life” in Fort Frances in honour of long-time member Jeanine Shine, who passed away earlier this year after a courageous battle with cancer.

The annual “Castin’ for Cash” bass tournament on Lake Despair is scheduled for July 6-7.
Spots are filling up fast but there are a few left.
The event also will include canned music on the Saturday, as well as food booths all weekend provided by Muskie hockey team.
A roast beef supper is planned for Sunday, June 10 from 5-7 p.m. at the Dance Hall.
The menu will include Yorkshire pudding, all the fixings, and homemade dainties for dessert.
Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for kids aged six-12 (those five and under eat free), with proceeds to help keep the Dance community history alive.
Organizers of the Devlin slo-pitch league will meet tonight (April 25) at 6:30 p.m. to set a date for the annual ball diamond clean-up, which will be held either April 28 or May 5.
The first game is scheduled for Monday, May 7.

Guthrie United Church in Devlin will host its annual “Spring Fling” and tea this Sunday (April 22) from 2-4 p.m. at the Devlin Hall.
There also will be a bake sale, penny table, and silent auction, with admission being $3 for adults and $2 for children under 12.
The annual Spring Fever Days takes place in Emo on April 20-21.
Along with the many activities that take place during this poplar event, the Emo Legion hosts its annual “Crafts Galore.”
Tables can be rented for $10 a day, with donations appreciated from members and non-members.
Soup and sandwiches also will be served at the Legion each day from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The Emo Legion will host its annual Good Friday fish fry this Friday (April 6) from 5-7 p.m. (take-out orders available from 4:30-5 p.m.)
The menu includes walleye, coleslaw, wild rice casserole, baked beans, cream corn, pie, and beverage, with admission costing $13 for adults and $5 for kids six and under.
Come out and enjoy a good meal and socializing.
La Vallee residents have been advised that a fire restriction is in effect in the township until April 1.
Absolutely no burning is allowed at this time, which includes incinerators and barrels.
The Emo and District Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual Shamrock tea and bake sale this Friday (March 16) from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Emo Health Centre.
Donations of baking would be appreciated.
Admission is $3, with proceeds going towards the X-ray upgrade there.
Auxiliary memberships also will be available for $2 each.
A sure sign that spring is just around the corner is when it’s time to turn our clocks ahead one hour, or as the old saying goes: “Spring forward.”
Be sure to set your clocks before going to bed Saturday night or you may be an hour late for your events on Sunday.
