‘Wild Turkeys’ set to perform at Cornell Farms

Cornell Farms is hosting their last barn concert for the season this Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

The Wild Turkeys (a group of five brothers) hail from the icy shores of Sault Ste. Marie. Their music is filled with sizzling hot music and song, and lots of pickin’ and grinnin’. This group of cowboys provide a fun stage presence and energetic sound.

Village People crowned tourney champs

The Village People bested 10 other teams to capture the annual Kingsley Downs and Gus Lindberg Memorial slo-pitch tournament over the weekend in Devlin, downing the Clippers in the ‘A’ final.

Northwest Bay beat the Whiskey Jax to win the ‘B’ title while the Brew Jays topped the River Rats in the ‘C’ final.

It was an action-packed and fun-filled weekend for all!

Annual ‘Strawberry Social’ slated Friday at Emo Health Centre

The Emo and District Hospital Auxiliary will host its annual “Strawberry Social” this Friday (June 12) from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the hospital cafeteria.

Admission is $3.

As always, there will be draws to add to the excitement.

Everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy the afternoon. The auxiliary appreciates everyone’s support!

Annual T.O.P.S. salad supper slated for Monday evening

The annual T.O.P.S. ON3019 salada supper will take place this Monday (May 25) starting at 6 p.m. at the Devlin Hall.

As always, the menu will feature delicious salads—from pasta and taco to dessert ones.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children aged six-12 (those five and under are free).

Take-out orders also are available.
