The Rainy River District Stewardship Council is proud to announce the May 17 launch of the “Fort Frances Tree Map: A Guided Tour of Local Trees.”

The map is a fun, visual representation of some of Fort Frances and its town-owned native trees.

Burning banned in town

Be advised that the Fort Frances Fire/Rescue Service has issued a complete fire ban for the Town of Fort Frances.

Burn permits also have been cancelled.

Barbecues that use propane are permitted with extreme caution.
