Two teens nabbed

The Rainy River District OPP officers responded to a mischief on the 1200 block of Second Street East around 9:30 p.m. yesterday.

Several residences and motor vehicles in the area were “egged.”

Police obtained descriptions of those involved and located two youths in the area.

Woman found

The Rainy River District OPP is thanking the public for assistance in locating a missing Rainy River woman.

Julie Tesarsky was located Friday in Rainy River.

She had been last seen there Oct. 31.

Rainy River woman missing

The Rainy River District OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Rainy River woman.

Julie Tesarsky, 61, was last seen Saturday, Oct. 31 leaving the Rainy River liquor store on foot.

She was wearing a blue coat with a grey hoodie underneath, and large, dark-rimmed eye glasses.

Missing man sought

The Rainy River District OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Winnipeg man.

Reid Bricker, 33, was last seen in the downtown area of Winnipeg in the early-morning hours of Saturday, Oct. 24.

It is believed he may have been in the Fort Frances area on Oct. 28.

Teen facing charges

A 17-year-old Kenora male has been charged in connection with an incident Tuesday that saw schools there go into lockdown.

The teen was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon contrary.

He will be appear in court in Kenora on Oct. 27.

Man facing two charges

Members of the OPP’s Community Drug Action Team and the North West Region Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at an Armit Avenue residence on Sept. 21.

As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old man was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, as well as possession of property obtained by crime.

Several youths charged

Rainy River District OPP officers conducted a R.I.D.E check on Highway 71 in Chapple township on Friday evening.

Officers checked more than 300 vehicles for impaired drivers, as well as Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Act infractions.

A total of nine young persons were charged under the Liquor Licence Act and a large quantity of alcohol seized.
