Watch 9-1-1 calls: OPP

The OPP is reminding people to use 9-1-1 for its intended purpose only: to report emergencies.

Each time there is an accidental call, or one made for non-emergency incidents, it is consuming dispatcher time, hampering their ability to attend to real emergencies.

It also ties up officer resources that could be better utilized to respond to actual emergencies.
