Lots for kids to do in Emo

Attention kids in the Emo area!

The recreation committee once again is offering a wide variety of daytime activities weekdays from 2-4 p.m. for ages four and up.

On Mondays, youngsters are invited to take part in a soccer program at the Emo Sports Field. On Tuesdays, on the same field, the summer program workers will be introducing golf and other games.

Young people from the “Mully Children’s Family” were on hand at the Emo Legion on Sunday evening to entertain and educate a large audience with their music, acrobatics, and testimonies.

Flea market goes Sunday

A flea market at the fairgrounds in Emo will be held this Sunday (June 24) from 1-3 p.m.

All interested vendors are encouraged to contact Marie Whiting (487-2323), but last-minute vendors also will be accepted.

A previous flea market held there was successful, with six vendors and more than 150 customers.

Be sure to stop by and check out all the items for sale.

Summer jobs open at museum

The Rainy River District Women’s Institute Museum in Emo has two summer student employment positions available.
