The Watten Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual all-you-can-eat fish fry today (Aug. 25) from 4-8 p.m. at Sunny Cove Camp. Admission is $16 for adults and $6 for kids. All are invited to attend!

The Fort Frances Girls'/Women's Hockey Association currently is holding online registration at, with the season going from the last week of September through March. The grand opening of the Rainy Lake Square is set for Thursday, Oct. 5, with events getting underway in early afternoon. Pop Vegas then will perform a free concert starting at 6 p.m.
