John is survived by his four sons, Wayne (Doreen), Bryan (Jan), Jerry (Laura), and Glen (Bev); one daughter, Sheila; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his six brothers and two sisters.
A memorial service to celebrate John’s life was held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #238 on Thursday, May 1, 2008, with Rev. Rae Kiebuzinski officiating.

Our dad and grandpa will be sadly missed.
In loving memory of John (Jack) Wilfred Williamson, who passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the age of 91.
Born on June 4, 1916, John enlisted in the army in 1942 and served his country as a military policeman during the Second World War. He also worked for many years in the logging industry.
