Gary worked for many years as assistant manager at the Memorial Arena (recreational centre), with the last few years as superintendent.
His retirement was spent enjoying his family and grandkids. He also participated for many years in Toastmasters.
Gary leaves behind his daughter, Susan Boulanger, son-in-law, Joe, and granddaughters, Katie and Anna, of Longlac, Ont.; as well as his son, Michael Thibault, partner, Kim, and grandchildren, Brandon, Tamara, Candice, and Sheldon, of Vulcan, Alta.
He was predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Grace Thibault.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 2, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Pastor Denis Thibault officiating.
Cremation has taken place in Mississauga, Ont.

Gary Thibault, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Toronto General Hospital in Toronto, Ont.
